Start of a new and green era at See-Transit.
We are more than happy to welcome our newbuild MV “WES ESTHER” in our TC-fleet, a Damen Combi Freighter 3850 sailing under Portuguese Flag.
She is currently on her maiden voyage from the shipyard in Shanghai to the German Northsea and will attend to our fleet shortly!

Having a greener future in mind, MV “WES ESTHER” is equipped with modern technology, enabling to operate with lower power at the same speed and setting new standards in shipping, on lower resistance, less flow separation at stern.

The new generation of Damen Combi Freighters have been improved on emissions and fuel consumption with a special view on new standards and prerequisites like the EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index).
Because of the fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and future obligations, as well as the average age of the current “European short-sea fleet”, See-Transit has decided to welcome this newbuild vessel into the fleet.

The vessel will be able to meet customers’ needs in terms of freight rate level as well as a low carbon footprint.
